Commercial office building - built up roof (hot mop). Had aged out and was leaking. A cool roof system was installed. All AC ducting was re-waterproofed. All water ponding issues were resolved.
LOS ANGELES — This office building was in very bad shape and at the end of its service life. The roof had large water ponding issues, roof alligatoring, pulling apart from being dried out as well as leaking. The building inspector was not sure this roof could be saved or restored. Using a proprietary roof leveling compound the water ponding issues were resolved. A cool roof restoration was then completed giving the roof a service life of approximately 20 more years. In addition we installed 9 new skylights which improved inside lighting and reduced electricity use in the offices.
LOS ANGLES — This office and studio needed to have portions of the roof restored, drains redone, old vents removed, new vents installed and then 3 coatings throughout. The building was suffering from dozens of leaks when we started and is now leak free as well as saving the new building owner a considerable amount of money on not having to re-roof while still getting a long term warranty.
LOS ANGELES — This office building received a cool roof restoration but presented difficulties due to a lot of detail to work around. With all of the air-conditioning units and roof penetrations one needs to be thorough. This building also has a large traffic flow of people which could not be disrupted while the roof was being restored. We were able to accomplish this with no disruptions because of our experience and mobile equipment set-up for buildings of this nature.
LOS ANGELES — This office building needed new skylights and the roof was in a dried out condition with repairs becoming more frequent. We completed maintenance repairs, removed the old failing skylights and replaced them with Energy Star rated ones then thoroughly washed and cleaned the roof prior to applying multiple coats of white elastomeric roof coatings. The roof’s life was minimally doubled, reduced building’s heat and maintenance.
LOS ANGELES — This building was at the end of its service life and was given no other choice than to re-roof by other roofing companies. We were able to offer them an economical option of a restoration using a chopped fiber glass and elastomeric roof system giving them a water tight roof with a long term warranty.
LOS ANGELES — These offices / studios were having leak problems and heat build up inside this old building. The majority of leaking was around reinforcing wall brackets which tend to have tar used as sealants which dry out quickly on stress points such as these. On brackets we use a very flexible white rubber which greatly out lasts tar and holds up well to building movement. The roof was thoroughly washed and 3 roof coatings where applied with the top coats being an elastomeric roof coating. Roof leaks were resolved and the interior heat problem was significantly reduced.

LOS ANGELES — This building was about half way through its service life and just starting to present repairs and leaks to the building owner. We completed maintenance repairs, reinforcing the drainage walls, then did a thorough washing of the roof, primer coat with 2 white elastomeric top coats. All the leaks were stopped and the roof’s service life was easily doubled.
