Smaller commercial, retail roof—very busy with AC ducts. Roof was leaking throughout and poorly repaired over the years. A new cool roof system was installed as well as waterproofing all ducts joints.
Tar and gravel commercial roof was leaking throughout. All loose gravel was removed then applied a waterproofing membrane: 2 ply reinforcing fabrics and asphaltic emulsion. After membrane was cured we applied 2 coats of commercial grade white elastomeric roof coating.
LOS ANGELES, CA — This retail building had open beam ceilings. Re-roofing would have required removal of the old roofs. The amount of dust and debris that would have filtered into the store would have been very problematic, ruining merchandise and having to close the store down.
